Lysing Matrix S, 50 mL tubes contains 150 stainless steel beads. Will not bind nucleic acids. Application Notes Metal Bead Lysing Matrix is used to break hard/brittle samples. Specialty applications include RNA and protein extraction from difficult samples where lysis by impaction only is preferable with minimal amounts of mechanical shearing.
