Cell Strainers
• ABDOS Cell strainers are manufactured from a strong medical grade nylon mesh with fine and even spaced pores used for
isolating primary cells to suffice tissue culture technique for obtaining uniform single cell suspension from tissues.
• These strainers are available in 3 mesh sizes : 40 µm, 70 µm and 100 µm with 3 different color codings for easy identification.
• The frame of strainer is made of virgin Polypropylene with extended lip for easy handling.
• These strainers provide ideal fitment with ABDOS 50 ml Centrifuge tubes. -
Container Seal
• Container Seal is a sealing tape designed for the vast range of bottles and containers used in laboratory application.
• Its unique elastomeric characteristics allow it to stretch and conform around the irregular perimeters of containers lids and covers to form a
tight seal.
• Container Seal will block water vapor loss, reduce the rate of gas exchange and prevent entry of contaminants.
• Ideally sized (0.75” wide) tape can be easily removed from surface without leaving an adhesive residue. -
Cryo Coders for External & Internal Threaded Vials, HDPE
• These coders fit onto the top of ‘Abdos’ skirted foot externally threaded cryogenic vial closures.
• These provide quick visual identification of specific vials to simplify inventory maintenance.
• Available in a wide range of colours. -
Dual Purpose Scoop, HDPE
• ABDOS Dual purpose Scoop is designed to combine the function of a scoop, weigh boat, and funnel to make this product economically beneficial.
• These Scoops are made from high quality anti-static polystyrene that is waterproof and reduces the probability of materials sticking to the scoop.
• These scoops have locking tabs that help to retain materials.
• These scoops can withstand powders, gels, and semi-solids.
• The broad tip design keeps the scoop stable while on the scale and enables materials to be easily scooped and dispensed. -
Floating Rack for Micro Centrifuge Tube, PP
• Use on the bench, with water bath or ice containers.
• Polypropylene racks keep micro tubes afloat in water bath or can be pushed
into crushed ice – perfect for controlling sample temperature.
• Not recommended for autoclaving.
• Detachable legs provide two options:
a.Attach legs so rack stands upright on bench top.
b.Detach legs so samples can be quickly popped out by pushing down onto any surface. -
Multipurpose Labeling Tape
• These autoclavable tapes adhere to almost any dry surface-glass, plastic, metal, paper and rubber.
• These tapes sticks throughout the most demanding procedures, is oil-proof, waterproof and acid resistant and can be steam autoclaved.
• Holds in a wide range of temperatures and transfers and transfers cleanly from one surface to another, leaving no messy residue.
• These labels accept handwritten notations inscribed with pen, pencil or marker. -
Petri-Seal
• Petri-Seal stretches and conforms to form a tight seal and is temperature resistant,water – proof and chemically resistant.
• It resists abrasion and puncture and blocks vapor loss while reducing the rate of gas exchange.
• Petri-Seal can be used with microtiter plates, petri dishes and culture plates to prevent entry of any contaminants.
• Petri-Seal remains flexible down to -30°C and can withstand continuous exposure from -40°C (with intermittent exposure up to 100°C). -

Weighing Boats, PS
• Abdos weighing boats are flexible with smooth surfaces to provide accurate pour-outs with minimal sample loss.
• Biologically inert and resistant to dilute weak acids, aqueous solutions, alcohols, and bases.
• All Abdos weighing boats are anti-static and facilitate the weighing of the static-affected sample.
• These boats can withstand temperature between 10°C to 70°C.
• Can be used with microwave moisture analysers. -
