Terrific Broth, Modified is a buffered enriched medium for the propagation of recombinant E. coli strains.
Tryptone is a pancreatic digest of casein. Tryptone is utillized as a source of nitrogen in many culture media for growing bacteria as well as fungi.
Tryptic Soy Broth is used for the cultivation of fastidious and non-fastidious microorganisms
Versatile medium recommended for general use in the laboratory
Promotes abundant growth of fastidious microorganisms without addition of serum and other materials
May be used for the rapid determination of the bacteriological quality of water

Terrific Broth, Modified is a buffered enriched medium for the propagation of recombinant E. coli strains. The addition of extra Tryptone and Yeast Extract in the medium allows higher plasmid yield per volume. Glycerol is used as a carbohydrate source in this formulation. Unlike glucose, glycerol is not fermented to acetic acid.
Supplement VX is a sterile lyophilized concentrate of essential growth factors for supplementing media for culturing microorganisms with exacting growth requirements. Recommended as an enrichment for the cultivation of Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Haemophilus influenzae and other fastidious organisms.
Cell culture media. MP Bio offers MEM with either Earle’s or Hanks’ salts.
Sabouraud Dextrose Agar can be used for the isolation, identification and maintainance of pathogenic and saprophytic fungi. It is suited for the cultivation of yeasts, molds and aciduric microorganisms.
Used with glycerol (cat. no. 1004417) for the isolation, cultivation and differentiation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa on the basis of phycocyanin (pigment) production.
Potato Dextrose Broth is used for the isolation, enumeration and identification of yeast and molds.
Suited for the cultivation of yeasts and molds from dairy products and other foods. It may also be used to induce sporulation in many fungi.
General purpose medium used for cultivating a broad variety of fastidious and non-fastidious microorganisms with non-exacting nutritional requirements.
General purpose growth media to isolate and cultivate yeasts and molds from a wide range of sample sources.
Medium used for the isolation of enteric bacilli based on the fermentation of lactose.
For the cultivation, propagation and maintenance of E. coli , B. subtilis, S. choleraesuis, C. glutamicum and other bacteria for molecular biology applications. Contains 10 g/liter sodium chloride.
Hemoglobin, from beef blood. Autoclavable preparation to be used with GC Agar Base.
Columbia Agar Base is a highly nutritive general purpose medium for the cultivation of fastidious organisms, especially when supplemented with plain or chocolated blood.
Basal Medium Eagle (BME) is one of the most commonly used ynthetic basal medium for supporting the growth of many different mammalian cells
Brain Heart Infusion Broth is a modification of the media by Rosenow and Hayden. The infusion from calf brains has replaced the brain tissue and disodium phosphate has replaced the calcium carbonate buffer.
Novel trypsin replacement that exhibits both protease and collagenolytic activities for cell detachment
Effective in detaching primary fibroblasts, endothelial cells, neurons, tumor cell lines, and insect cells
Maintains most cell surface antigens
