Description
The Advantage RT-for-PCR Kit allows efficient, rapid first-strand cDNA synthesis from total or poly(A)+ RNA, providing enough cDNA for PCR from nanogram quantities of any RNA in about an hour. It uses longer oligo(dT)18 primers for more effective priming and includes a recombinant RNase inhibitor to limit RNA degradation, so more full-length cDNA is generated, and allows several genes to be analyzed from a single RNA source. Each kit contains oligo(dT)18 and random hexamer primers, PCR control primers and control RNA. The kit does not include reagents for PCR; Titanium Taq DNA Polymerase is recommended for the PCR step.
