Description
PrimeScript FAST RT Reagent Kit with gDNA Eraser is a specialized reverse transcription kit for real-time RT-PCR (qPCR) that includes a genomic DNA (gDNA) elimination reaction. Residual gDNA in the template RNA is removed by a 2-minute treatment at 42°C with gDNA Eraser, which has potent DNA-degrading activity, and the premix then goes straight into a fast reverse transcription reaction. The kit contains 8X gDNA Eraser Premix, 5X RT Premix, RNase-free water and EASY Dilution II (for Real Time PCR), and pairs well with TB Green Premix Ex Taq II FAST qPCR for a rapid two-step RT-qPCR workflow.
