Description
PrimeSTAR GXL DNA Polymerase is a high-fidelity PCR enzyme that adds an elongation factor to the high-fidelity PrimeSTAR HS DNA Polymerase to greatly increase PCR performance on difficult templates. It amplifies products up to 30 kb from human genomic DNA, 40 kb from lambda DNA and 13.5 kb from human cDNA, and works well on GC-rich templates and with large amounts of template. It uses an antibody-based hot start, supports fast extension (about 5 sec/kb), and generates blunt-ended products. This version is supplied at 25 U/ul in a glycerol-free formulation. Do not use inosine-containing primers or dUTP.
